The Story of Prophet & Massenger Of Allah [swt] Ezra (Uzair) [as]

The story of this great and pious nd righteous prophet and Massenger of Allah : prophet Uzair [Ezra]. Allah [swt] says in the Qur’anul Karim, and about that man went passed his village, it was a village that was a dead village. Before it was a  well civilized settled village as some of the scholar say it was the time of Bani Isra’il. And prophet Uzair came after the time of Musa [as]. And prophet Uzair was one of those prophets to Bani Isra’il.

As Allah [swt] blessed Bani Isra’il with so many different and umber of prophets and massenger. But Bani Isra’il never apreciated. The number of prophets and massenger that Allah [swt] will continue to send to them.

And at that time Bani Isra’il transgressed and disobeyed Allah [swt]. for that many different nation picked on Bani Isra’il. And some of them destroyed Bani Isra’il enslaved some of the member of bani isra’il. And at time Bani Isra’il star to forget the Taurah. And neglected teaching the taurah, and neglected learning the taurah, and neglected take care of the taurah. So the taurah was nearly to be lost amongst Bani Isra’il.

Uzair [as] was that prophet tha Allah [swt] blessed to memorise the taurah. Ad he was the only man amongst Bani Isra’il at that time and era. That memorise the taurah and knew of the taurah. So Allah [swt] wanted a miracle to appear on the hands of uzair. So the people of Isra’il; the children of Isra’il can’t respect Uzair even more. And not only that but can return to the book of Allah [swt]. and divine revelation of Allah [swt] upon Uzair.

So prophet Uzair went pass this village. And that village is to belong to the people and the children of Isra’il. And that village has been destroyed, it’s been destroyed, it’s been cut down it’s trees. The houses of that village had been destroyed and demolished. So Uzair [as] went passed that village. And he was amazed to see the state of that village. After it was a vibrant and alive village. It’s been destroyed  and the people are no longer living. An the inhabitants of that vllage are no longer there.

So he said to himself : how would Allah [swt] revive this village and bring it back to life the  way it used to be? Not that he’s doubting Allah [swt] will do so. But he is just asking that question. Where this village used to be at and where this village is at now. Allah [swt] wanted a miracle to appear. He had with him his donkey and he had some food. Some of the scholars say it was a bunch of grapes and a bit of bread. So he sat nearby that village looking at that village  from far.

So amazed, so shocked to see to the state of that village. And the condition of that village. So he ate some of the grapes that he had. And ate some of that bread. And then he rested  under the tree. And he rested early in the morning and then he slept. Allah [swt] wanted a miracle to appear. Allah [swt] made Uzair sleep for one hundred years. He slept for one full century.

Then Allah [swt] resurrected him, he didn’t die. Uzair found himself awake in the afternoon. So the though he slept maybe half a day or maybe a day or two. Allah [swt] send to him an angel. In which this angel will ask him : and obviously the angel came in the appearance of a human being. He said to him, how long did you sleep for? He said, I Slept maybe a day or half a day. So this angel will say to him : you slept for one hundred years. You didn’t sleep one day; you didn’t slept half a day. But you slept for one hundred years. That was a shock to Uzair [as]. He had a bunch of grapes and a bit of bread and he had his donkey. His food and grapes; Allah [swt] kept them undamaged, unchanged. But his donkey, Allah [swt] made his donkey die.

And not only that, his donkey turned into dust. So Allah wanted to show him the miracle, how Allah revives the dead. Whether t be a human being.. an animal, food or even a village. So Allah [swt] in front of him. Him sighting everything with his own eyes. Allah [swt] made the donkey come back alive. The way the donkey was before hundred years. So Allah [swt] wanted Uzair to realise that Allah can revive whatever he wants. Allah [swt] can  revive the dead. Allah [swt] can revive the human being who is dead. Allah can revive the animal in which is dead. And Allah swt can also revive the village. That one hundred years prior and before to that. When he visited that village, that village was destroyed and it that village it was not even one  human being. One person living in there.

After one hundred years when  Uzair [as] wake up. He went back to that village. And he saw that villahe once again vibrant an alive. People are living in that village. People has settled  in that village. People have houses in that village. People had farms around  that village. Theree is the market. There is people there. The village is so vibrant  and alive. So Allah [swt]  answered Uzair [as], when he says : how could Allah [swt] revive this dead village after it’s dead. Allah [swt] revived it. And Allah [swt] showed Uzair how Allah brings the dead back alive. Whether to be a human being or even an animal. Not only that even when there is a dead village Allah [swt] rejuvenated it; Allah [swt] revived it.

And then when he went to the village, Uzair [as] had good reputation amongs the people of Isra’il. He had a very good reputation amongs the children of Isra’il. And he was known to be a righteous pious man and not only that. He was also known to be the only man that memorised the Taurah. So after him slept for one hundred years, the Taurah vanished amongs the children of Isra’il. They had no connection to the Taurah. Except very little or what they’ve hear from theyr parents and their grandparents.

So when Uzair [as] wake up after one hundred years he went and visited that village. And then the people of hat village surounded him. And then they asked him : how are you? He asked himself : what do you know about Uzair? What have you hear about Uzair? So everyone responded : Uzair is that righteous man that pious man that died over hundred years ago. And he was tell the only man that he knew about taurah. He was the only man that memorised the taurah. So he said to them : I am Uzair. So people said to him : how could we even beieve you? How do you verify that? You’ve ben dead for a hundred years, Uzair ‘s been dead. Where were you hundred years ago?where were you verfore this time? So no one believed that it was Uzair. 

So Uzair asked : is there anyone that lived during the time of Uzair? So the people said, yes, there is an old blind women that lived during the time of Uzair. That met Uzair when she was twenty years old. And now she is one hundred and twenty years old. So he asked for that women. So they called that old blind woman to him. And then they asked her, how does Uzair look like? So She start describe Uzair. And every description that she describe on Uzair turned out to be accurate. And one hundred percent applies on Uzair [as]. So he said : I am Uzair and I am the prophet and the Massenger of Allah [swt]. Allah [swt] made me slept for one hundred years, one hundred years he slept for. Allah [swt] then brought  him back into this world and then the people and the children of Isra’il Surrounded Uzair. They loved Uzair so much. They respected Uzair so much. And Uzair revived the Taurah. Amongst the children of Isra’il of that time. And he was the reviver of the Taurah, and the tachings of Musa. The religion of Islam amongst the people and the children of Isra’il at that time.

They loved him so much, they were attached to him so much that they over exaggerated in Uzair that some people and childre of Isra’il said ‘that Uzair is a son of Allah, but Uzair is a prophet  and the Massenger of Allah, when tings were verified and clear to Uzair. He said, now I know that  Allas [swt] can and He is able to do whatever He wants. His matter, Allah [swt] whenever he wants it all he commands is to be and it happens. This is the stroy of this great and righteous prophet an Massenger of Allah [swt] Uzair [as].
